 Uttar Pradesh have brought a surprising shift in Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Despite exit polls predicting a strong performance for the BJP, the early trends showed the INDI alliance, composed of the Samajwadi Party and Congress, leading on 44 out of 80 seats. This development marks a challenge for the BJP, which had dominated the state in the previous two elections, winning 71 seats in 2014 and 62 in 2019. The stellar performance of the INDI alliance underscores the unpredictability of exit polls, which had expected another BJP landslide. 
 

UP Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav wins Mainpuri seat by margin of 2,21,639 votes: Election Commission.

In Gautam Buddh Nagar, BJP’s Mahesh Sharma was leading by a margin of over 3.32 lakh votes against Samajwadi Party’s Mahendra Singh Nagar.

In Rae Bareli, Congress’s Rahul Gandhi was ahead by a margin of 2.49 lakh votes against BJP’s Dinesh Singh.

In Bulandshahr, BJP’s Bhola Singh had a lead of over 2.69 lakh votes with Congress’ Shivram in second position.

In Mathura, BJP’s Hema Malini was leading by a margin of 2.14 lakh votes against Congress’s Mukesh Dhangar. The counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections 2024 is still underway and final results will come later today.

UP Election Result 2024 LIVE: Counting of votes across 80 LS constituencies begins. 

Uttar Pradesh Election Results 2024 Lok Sabha Live Updates: The counting of votes for the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha election 2024 is set to begin at 8 AM today. Early trends for the state, including the Varanasi seat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a candidate, are expected within the first few hours. The final results of the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha polls are expected to be announced by the evening of June 4. Stay tuned. 

Preparations are underway across Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha poll counting of votes.

Hemraj Meena, Moradabad SSP said that barricades, CCTVs, and over 1,000 personnel have been deployed.

" At 8 am the counting of the votes will begin here...All the arrangements have been made...We have made the necessary force deployment at the centre...Barricades have been done and CCTVs have been installed...Two companies of Paramilitary forces have been deployed... 1200 police have been deployed," Hemraj said.
