Maharashtra Assembly Elections: The Eknath Shinde -led Shiv Sena on Wednesday called on the Election Commission of India to seal the borders that Maharashtra shares with Karnataka and Telangana, alleging that "hundreds of crores" are flowing from these Congress -ruled states to support the Maha Vikas Aghadi in the upcoming assembly elections.

Shiv Sena secretary and chief spokesperson Kiran Pawaskar stated that the party would submit a formal petition to the Election Commission regarding the issue. "Hundreds of crores are coming from both Congress -ruled states to aid the Maha Vikas Aghadi in the Maharashtra elections," he claimed.

Pawaskar alleged that key individuals from Karnataka and Telangana have been tasked by the Congress to facilitate the influx of money into Maharashtra , warning of a "flood of money" that could disrupt the electoral process. He also expressed concerns about funds coming from foreign countries, stating, “Funds are flowing into the Maha Vikas Aghadi not just from Karnataka and Telangana, but also from foreign countries.”
