By-Election Result 2021: NDA wins all 5 seats in Assam; TMC in Bengal

BJP has retained Khandwa Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh in bypoll, according to officials. 

In Madhya Pradesh by-elections, BJP has lost Raigoan (SC) seat by a margin of 12,290 votes to Congress:, according to Election Commission officials.

BJP and its ally UPPL has won all five seats in the Assam byelections. Reacting to the same, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "We won all 5 seats with a huge margin. Today's electoral victory in Assam isn't an ordinary victory as in every seat we won by a margin higher than in general elections. People of North East have reposed their faith in the leadership of PM Modi."

In Bihar byelections, the Janata Dal-United has won in the Tarapur assembly constituency The party has already won the Kusheshwarsthan assembly bypoll by 12698 votes.

In Rajasthan byelections, Congress candidate Preeti Shaktawat won Vallabhnagar Assembly seat by 20,606 votes.

Shiv Sena candidate Kalaben Delkar wins Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 51,269 votes in bypoll: EC official. 

Indian National Lok Dal's Abhay Singh Chautala wins Ellenabad Assembly seat, beats BJP's Gobind Kanda by over 6,700 votes

 JD(U) wins Kusheshwar Asthan assembly seat with a margin of 12,695 votes; RJD second, LJP third.

Meghalaya by-polls results:

Mawphlang - UDP wins with a margin of 4401 votes; Congress second and NPP third

Mawryngkneng - NPP wins with a margin of 1816 votes; Congress second and IND third

Rajabala -NPP wins with a margin of 1926 votes; Congress second and UDP third.

JDU leading by 843 votes in Tarapur assembly constituency after 19th round.

The Trinamool Congress has won all four seats in West Bengal by-polls. It won Dinhata with a margin of 1,64,089 votes, while BJP has come second. In Santipur, Mamata Banerjee's party triumphed with a margin of 64,675 votes. TMC has also won Khardaha and Gosaba seats.

In Meghalaya by-polls, NPP wins 2 and UDP wins 1 Assembly seat in Meghalaya by-polls.

Mizo National Front wins the lone Assembly seat in Mizoram that went to by-polls on October 30th.

BJP and Congress win one seat each in Karnataka by-polls. Congress wins Hangal with a margin of 7373 votes, BJP second, JD(S) third. BJP wins Sindgi with a margin of 31,185 votes; Congress second, JD(S) third.

Congress wins in Dhariawad Assembly constituency with a margin of 18,725 votes; independent candidate second, BJP third.

Congress wins all three Assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh that went to by-polls on October 30th.

The National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has won the assembly constituency contested by its candidate S Keoshu Yimchunger in Shamator Chessore. This is the single assembly seat in Nagaland where by-polls were scheduled. 

The National People's Party has won the Rajabala assembly seat after defeating Congress's Hashina Yashmin Mondal by a margin of 1,900 votes. NPP's candidate Md, Abdus Saleh secured a total of 11,823 votes, while Mondal lagged behind with 9,897 votes. 

Defeating BJP candidate Mahesh Gavit, Shiv Sena's Kalaben Delkar has won the byelection for the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat after completing the 22nd round. She won by 1,12,741 votes while Gavit could only garner 63,382 votes. 

As per the recent ECI trends, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party candidate has left behind all her rivals by a margin of around 90,000 votes in Andhra Pradesh's Badvel constituency. Dr Sudha has till now secured 1,12,072 votes while BJP is merely at 21,661. 

Trinamool Congress candidate Sovandeb Chattopadhyay emerged victoriously in West Bengal's Khardah assembly constituency by a margin of 93,832 votes. 

With a major vote share, Congress candidate Pratibha Singh has won the Mandi Lok Sabha by-polls against BJP’s Khushal Thakur in Himachal Pradesh.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has won the bypoll in the Sindgi assembly constituency with its candidate Ramesh Bhusnur who won 74,463 votes against Congress's Ashok Managuli by a margin of 31185 votes. 

With a major lead in Karnataka's Hangal assembly constituency by a margin of around 7,000 votes, Congress is leading (6963) against BJP after the 16th round of counting. 

As countings are still underway, Shiv Sena's Kalaben Delkar has taken a major lead of more than 15,000 votes for the by-polls to the Dadra and Nagar Havel Lok Sabha seat. Meanwhile, the counting commenced at 8:30 AM in the Karad area of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli. 

According to Election Commission's recent trends, INLD's Abhay Chautala who was taking a lead in Haryana's Ellenabad has now fallen by 2,985 votes after 10 rounds of counting. Chautala has gained 40,633 votes so far, whereas BJP-JJP candidate Gobind Kanda has garnered 37,648 votes and Congress's Pawan Beniwal has garnered 14,951 votes. 

While Congress has been leading in the Mandi parliamentary seat followed by the Arki assembly constituency, BJP is also leading in Fatehpur, thus showing a tough competition between the two

YSRCP's candidate Dr Dasari Sudha wins Andhra Pradesh's for Badvel constituency seat with a majority of more than 90,000 votes, while BJP secures over 21,000 votes and Congress faces defeat. The victory votes are said to be the highest than the 2019 general elections. 

With an all-time record in the history of Bengal assembly elections, Trinamool Congress's Udayan Guha wins Dinhata assembly bypolls by a margin of 1.63 lakh votes. 

The Congress has been leading in the Mandi parliamentary seat followed by the assembly constituency of Arki. While on the other hand, BJP is leading in the Fatehpur seat. 

As voting is in the last round of counting in West Bengal's Dinhata seat, Trinamool Congress’s Udayan Guha was leading against BJP's candidate by a margin of 1.55 lakh votes. 

Congress has been leading on 2 seats followed by BJP on 1 (total of 3 seats) in Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh, BJP is presently leading on 2 seats and Congress on 1 (total 3 seats).

K Laldawngliana wins Tuirial Assembly seat in Mizoram. 

According to Senior TMC leader Saugata Roy, victory in West Bengal by-polls was expected as they fought well and so are winning comfortably. He added that the more BJP is defeated, the better for the democracy as people are upset with the Centre's governance. Roy said, "Our party gave directions that there shouldn't be any post-poll violence. Nothing will happen". 

Trinamool Congress workers were celebrating outside a counting centre in Dinhata, Cooch Behar as the party leads on all 4 seats in the by-polls to the State Assembly. TMC's Udayan Guha is leading in Dinhata with 96,537 votes so far.

As vote counting is underway in Bihar, Janata Dal (United) JDU has been leading in two seats in Bihar's Kusheshwarasthan by 3320 votes, while RJD takes a lead in Tarapur by 2250 votes. 

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  has been leading in the Khandwa Lok Sabha constituency followed by the three other assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, in Assam, the party and its allies (NDA) are leading in all the five assembly constituencies in Assam.

NPP & UDP leading on 1 seat each in Meghalaya (total 2 seats), Mizo National Front on the 1 seat in Mizoram, Congress leading on both seats in Rajasthan, and BJP leading on the lone seat in Telangana.

As vote counting is underway for Assembly constituencies across 14 states, YSRCP is leading on the lone seat in Andhra Pradesh, while BJP leading on 3 & UPPL on 2 in Assam. Similarly, JD(U) & RJD are leading on one each in Bihar, and INLD is leading on the single-seat in Haryana.

As Trinamool Congress has been maintaining a steady lead in all four seats of West Bengal, party workers have already started celebrating in some areas. As a part of this, workers were seen bursting crackers and playing with green abir (powdered colour). 

As voting is underway in West Bengal's Gosaba, Trinamool Congress is leading by 90,005 votes against BJP, after 10 rounds of counting.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday expressed confidence about winning the Assembly seats in Sindagi and Hangal. Currently, BJP is leading in Sindagi and Congress has taken a lead in Hangal. 

As bypoll vote countings are underway in West Bengal, TMC’s Udayan Guha is leading with 62,847 votes against BJP’s Ashok Mondal after eight rounds of counting for the Dinhata seat. 

The Election Commission has instructed to not carry out any victory procession after counting permissible. Not more than 2 persons allowed to accompany the winning candidate or his/her authorised representative receives certification of election from Returning Officer concerned, it added. 

Expressing confidence regarding the results of the bypolls in Bihar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "We'll win by a handsome margin. If the administration or other people will try to create any disturbance, I'm here in Darbhanga. I'll not let the mandate be stolen by anybody. Our teams are here & overseeing everything."

As per the earlier trends stated by the ECI, the BJP has been leading in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa Lok Sabha constituency and Raigaon Assembly seat as well. While vote counting is underway on Tuesday for the bypolls held in the state, by-elections for Jobat (reserved for ST) and Prithvipur Assembly seats in the state were also held on October 30. The counting of votes began at 8 am amid tight security. 

While the Mizo National Front has been leading on 1 seat in Mizoram, the Congress is on a lead on both the seats in Rajasthan, BJP on the single seat in Telangana, and TMC with all 4 seats in West Bengal. 

The Trinamool Congress party was leading on Tuesday in all four assembly seats as estimated by the earlier trends as counting of votes has already started after the Bengal bypolls were carried out last week. According to the election commission officials, the TMC was seen leading after the first round of counting. While, the counting of votes for Khardah, Gosaba, Santipur, and Dinhata began at 8 AM, tight security has been layered around the counting venues. 

Kargil war martyr Brigadier (retd) Khushal Thakur of the BJP is currently leading with 1,855 votes over his nearest Congress rival, Pratibha Singh in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi parliamentary seat. The counting of votes for the recently held by-elections in Mandi LS seat and three Vidhan Sabha seats of Fatehpur, Arki, and Jubbal-Kotkhai is currently underway amid tight security at the 25 counting centres.

Congress has been leading in Himachal Pradesh, while BJP is leading in Madhya Pradesh followed by Shiv Sena in Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

BJP is currently leading on 1 out of 3 seats in Madhya Pradesh, NPP & UDP on 1 each out of 3 seats in Meghalaya, Zoram People's Movement on 1 seat of Mizoram, and Congress is currently standing on 1 out of 2 seats in Rajasthan.

BJP leading in 1 out of 5 seats in Assam, RJD in 1 out of 2 seats in Bihar, Congress in 1 out of 3 seats in Himachal Pradesh, and BJP & Congress on one each in Karnataka.
