2.0 Trailer: Celebrities Call Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar Starrer The 'Next Frontier Of Indian Cinema'

After fans, even celebrities went gaga over Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer ‘visual extravaganza’ '2.0' trailer. The members of the cast, however, used minimal words to describe their trailer while sharing it with the fans.

The much awaited trailer of ‘2.0’ is finally out, and it has hit the ball out of the park. The story of Rajinikanth’s dual avatars working together against the menace of antagonist Akshay Kumar’s ‘mobile-snatching’ team, filled with dollops of action and drama had left the Twitter users panting for breath. Twitter exploded with excitement after the launch of the trailer, with some of them saying the movie will 'set the screens on fire', calling it a ‘visual extravaganza’, ‘sensory experience’ and many who lauded the VFX, terming it the 'best in Bollywood' till now. Even celebrities took to Twitter to share their opinion of the movie.

‘Rang De Basanti’ actor Siddarth was all praises for the director Shankar, calling him the man who is 'pulling the mountain' and lauded the movie for being the 'next frontier of Indian cinema.' He also pointed to the ‘Wow’ from megastar Rajinikanth, the legend of the Tamil industry, which Siddharth is also a part of. Pulkit Samrat used the word ‘Damdaar’(powerful) for the trailer.Trade analyst Taran Adarsh called the expectations from the movie ‘colossal’ with the big names that ‘evoke tremendous curiosity.’

On the other hand, the members of the cast used minimal words to describe their trailer while sharing it with the fans.  Music composer A R Rahman used the words, ‘Finally’, one of the presenters, Karan Johar was excited about the wait finally getting over, while the female lead Amy Jackson only wrote, ‘It landed’. For Akshay, it was the ‘D-Day’ along with it being #2Point0TrailerDay.
