Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Singham' that released in 2011 had the audience from every age group enjoying the movie. The Ajay Devgn starrer became popular for its one-liners and for the portrayal of the harsh reality of the Indian police service and the politics. While there are innumerable memorable dialogues in the film, we pick seven dialogues that created an impact on the audience:

1. "Jisme hai dum ... to fakht Bajirao Singham"

This famous dialogue said by Ajy Devgn who plays the role of Inspector Bajirao Singham has been etched in the minds of everyone, making his same a synonym for strength. HE uses this dialogue when he faces his enemy, portrayed by the versatile Prakash Raj, which gives a boost to Ajay Devgn's confidence.

2. "Aata maajhi satakli ! "

The popularity of this dialogue needs to be spoken about because a lot has been said about this and we are sure that those who have not seen the film will also connect with the dialogues. This is another of Ajay Devgn's characters' popular dialogue. And everybody knows that once he says the dialogue, he is sure to break some bad bones. The dialogue became so popular that the second installment of the film had a song dedicated to the dialogue, sung by Honey Singh.

3. "Police waalon ki na dosti achchi na Dushmani ... Tune toh dono hi kar li"

This dialogue by Ajay Devgn comes towards the climax of the film when the entire police force reaches at Prakash Raj's house to close his chapter once and for all.

4. Meri zarooratein kam hai ... is liye mere zameer mein dum hai

This dialogue is a part of the monologue by Ajay Devgn when he faces the Zonal DSP for obstructing him from doing his duty. The braveheart Bajirao Singham challenges the DSP to do whatever he can since he does not mind losing his job as he will go back to his village and work hard for his minimal needs.

5. "Kuch bhi karne ka..lekin Jaykant Shikre ki ego ka hurt nahi karne ka"

Prakash Raj plays the antagonist Jaykant Shikre, a conniving politician in the film. He gets humiliated by Singham once and gets behind him to destroy his life. Out of the several one-liners of his characters, this one became the most popular. The credit largely goes to Prakash Raj for the way he delivered the line.

6. "Minister log mere peeche aur police log mere jeb mein rehte hain"

Ajay Devgn's character got the required motivation from this one dialogue by Prakash Raj, when the antagonist looks into the eye of the Ajay Devgn talks ill of police officers.

7. Is desh ke rajneeti mein system ho na ho ... yahan ke system mein rajneeti zaroor chalta hai

This dialogue by Ashok Saraf, who plays a constable in the movie, speaks volume of the political nature of our country. He said this dialogue after the Zonal DSP rescues criminals taken into custody by Ajay Devgn.

The film also starred Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. The second part of the film featured Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. The second installment was also directed by Rohit Shetty and also starred veteran actor Anupam Kher.
