Alia Bhatt, known as the simple and bubbly Bollywood beauty, has won many hearts with her acting skills and casual outlook. The Raazi actor is busy shooting for her upcoming movie Sadak 2. Alia also has her own YouTube channel, where she shares her beauty tips and skincare regimes. Even though the actor reportedly has a packed shooting schedule, she manages to share a video of her daily morning routine on her YouTube channel. The actor reportedly followed a strict fitness regime and diet to lose weight and have a properly toned body before her first debut movie Student Of The Year.

Alia Bhatt's morning routine to stay energetic throughout the day

In one of her videos, the actor said that the most important habit she has inherited recently is that she does not go on social media soon after she wakes up. When she is on an outdoor shoot, she rather visits a phone app named Flipboard to get updates about the climate, news, health, and nutrition. But when she is at home, she starts her day by going through the newspaper in the morning to keep herself updated. Another habit that Alia claims to have is that of drinking lemon water every morning. She said that used to have coffee before but has presently cut down on caffeine intake due to some health issues.

Another thing she claims to do during the day is taking a walk around her house, and when she is out on shooting she takes a walk outside her hotel room and enjoys the morning view. As part of her morning routine, she said that she writes one line about the day in a diary - which could be about her life, future, family, etc. The last thing she reportedly does each morning is revising her dialogues for the shoot scheduled for the day. Alia Bhatt follows this simple morning routine every day to stay fit and energized throughout the day. She avoids scrolling through her smartphone during the start of her day as she feels that just makes a person feel unhealthy and lazy. The actor also revealed that she does not like taking her breakfast as the first thing in the morning.

Alia Bhatt's fitness regime

Alia Bhatt follows a strict fitness schedule which is a mixture of cardio, weight training, dance and Yoga exercises. Her workout routine reportedly mainly consists of weight training, altitude training, beach running, swimming, kickboxing, and functional and circuit training. The actor visits the gym thrice or four times a week. But she carries out cardio every day for 40 minutes. The workout regime of the actor comprises of running on the treadmill, dumbbell push-ups, lateral pull-downs, biceps curls, triceps push down, crunches, back extensions, lunges and squats.

Alia Bhatt is also very fond of yoga exercises as she believes it provides her flexibility and strength. The actor reportedly practises different types of yoga exercises in her daily fitness routine to stay healthy and fit. She is very fond of ashtanga yoga. She also likes to perform anti-gravity yoga-like shirsasana.  She performs chakrasana, bhujangasna, surya namaskar, pranayama, and meditation.

Alia Bhatt`s transformation from being chubby to slim, was a well-appreciated task that she many have lauded her for. The actor follows a basic diet to stay fit. To maintain her gorgeous look, the actor keeps herself away from refined food like sugar, carbs, oily and junk foods. She also reportedly drinks plenty of water and takes eight nutritious and healthy meals a day.  Her diet plan reportedly includes poha, eggs, and sandwiches for breakfast. It is followed by healthy snacks such as peanuts or makhanas or fruits in between meals. For lunch, she eats homemade food which contains dal, roti, rice, and salad. And lastly, for dinner, her favorite is curd rice. Post-workout she likes having saffron lemon water and coconut water.

She prefers eating a fruit or idli with a bowl of Sāmbhar along with a vegetable juice during mid-mornings. She also eats a plate of fruits with a cup of coffee or tea without sugar during mid-evenings. The actor likes to take food with little or no oil. Her diet plan revolves around low carbs and high protein. She is very fond of fibrous foods like oats, fresh fruits, salads and yogurts.

Alia Bhatt's fitness mantra

Alia Bhatt maintains her physically fit body with a lot of hard work, strict diet routines and a rigorous fitness workout with a disciplined lifestyle. The fitness secret to her fit lifestyle is drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated always, and having fresh fruits and vegetables in meals and avoiding too many carbs and oil in food. Walking and exercising daily also contribute significantly. Taking proper rest and having good sleep is what she believes is most important.
