Kaatru Veliyidai

The Mani Ratnam directorial released in the year 2017. The film is based on the 1999 Kargil war. It features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the leading roles. Aditi’s performance was praised by the audience. She plays the character of a doctor who ends up falling in love with an Army soldier. The film received a wide release in the country. It won the National Film Award for the Best Music Direction.

Cheeka Chivantha Vaanam

The 2018 action-thriller Tamil film is co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film was declared a hit at the box office. Aditi plays the role of Parvathi that received good reviews. The story revolves around the life of three brothers who try to take control of their father's legacy. The film won an award at the Norway Tamil Film Festival for Best Stunt Choreographer. It received a good opening at the box office. The music of the film was composed by A.R Rahman.

Antariksham 9000 KMPH
