Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' might have gone off track for a while, with the female lead, Priyanka Chopra, backing out from the project, 10 days prior to the shoot, but the film got back on the track with actress Katrina Kaif hopping on board replacing Chopra. After finishing the first schedule f the film in Mumbai, the team is currently in Malta, where actress Katrina Kaif began shooting for her part. The makers have now released a still from their shoot in Malta, where Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif seem to be lost in love. Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous in a green Indian traditional outfit and Salman looks handsome in a black sherwani. The still seems to be from a romantic track from the film featuring the duo.
The picture has several comments from fans complimenting the former couple and their sizzling chemistry. Several fans have also gone on to express their desire for the couple to reunite on a personal front. However, as far as the picture is concerned, Katrina's smile stole the show. A few days back, the 'Tiger Zinda Hai' actress had revealed her look from the film, in a selfie, she posted on social media. In the picture, she had smoky eyes and curled hair.
There were also reports that Sunil Grover, who plays Salman Khan's best friend in the film will be romancing Nora Fatehi. The two will be shooting a romantic track for the same in the picturesque locations of Malta. Sunil Grover had also posted some pictures of himself clicked by Salman Khan, where the two are seen in the same attire- a white vest and black jeans.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif is busy with her upcoming film 'Zero' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The film helmed by Aanand L Rai is slated to release on December 21. She will also be shooting for 'Thugs of Hindostan' alongside Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Initially, Katrina Kaif was initially slated to make a guest appearance in 'Bharat', but after Priyanka Chopra walked out of the film, the 'Baar Baar Dekho' actress obliged to be the female lead.
'Bharat' is the official remake of renowned Korean film 'Ode to My Father'. The original film was based on the life of a man whose history and country's history could be traced from the year 1950 to the present time, through his life. In 'Bharat', the history of India will reportedly be traced from 1947 to early 2000s, through Salman Khan's character. However, the pictures that have been released by the makers so far, tell us that the film is largely focused on the circus era of the 1960s. Disha Patani, who has a pivotal role in the film, plays an acrobat while Nora Fatehi plays a character of Latino origin. The film helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Reel Life films and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series is slated to release on Eid 2019.
