Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' to be shot at 100 real locations

Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', which is an official remake of Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump' as per reports will be shot around 100 real locations.

Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', which is an official remake of Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump' as per reports will be shot around 100 real locations spanning across India. Cities such as Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Kolkata will be a part of the film's schedule among various others.

Apart from locations, a part of the film preparation also includes Aamir's physical transformation, for which the actor will undergo massive physical changes to better fit his character. For the same, Aamir will gain over 20 kilos and is likely to sport a turban in some parts of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

The actor would be sporting a turban "for some part of the film". Speaking about the remake, the actor said, "I have always loved 'Forrest Gump' as a script. It is a wonderful story about this character. It is a life-affirming story. It is a feel-good film. It is a film for the whole family."

Tom Hanks' 'Forrest Gump'

For those unaware, 'Forrest Gump' was based on a 1986 novel with the same title and was written by Winston Groom. Starring Tom Hanks, Robert Wright, and Gary Sinise, the movie won the Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing.

He was last seen in: 

Aamir was last seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, but the film failed to strike a chord with the fans and gained bad reviews from the audience as well as critics.
