A few days ago, a song clip was leaked on social media with claims that it was a leaked song from Kartik Aaryan starrer Aashiqui 3. The development had fuelled a lot of buzz on social media, considering there was no official announcement by the production house, Vishesh Films. However, Aashiqui 3 makers have now taken a major step in this direction.

Violation of notice may result in legal ramifications, warn Aashiqui 3 makers
Earlier today, Vishesh Films took to their social media handle to inform that they have issued a legal notice, warning people about spreading misinformation regarding their upcoming film Aashiqui 3, the latest installment of the Aashiqui franchise. The makers stated in their notice that they are the owner of all intellectual property rights and derivative rights associated with the Aashiqui franchise, which includes their 1990 film Aashiqui and the 2013 film Aashiqui 2.
The notice read, "It is imperative to note that any communications, engagements, or commitments related to the production or distribution, or marketing of prequel, sequel or any derivative works under the franchise made without our involvement or presence are not only unauthorised but are also fraudulent."
The makers also warned that any violations or transgressions of this notice (whether in the past, present or future) may result in legal ramifications including the makers' right to claim damages at the cost and consequences of the defaulter.

Aashiqui 3 announced in September 2022
The leaked song titled Bhool Jaa, which led to the makers issuing the official notice is rumoured to be sung by Arijit Singh, netizens pointed out. Arijit Singh had become a household name with his Aashiqui 2 songs, particularly Tum Hi Ho.
Aashiqui 2, the last film in the Aashiqui franchise, released in May 2013 and was a massive box office success. Last year on September 8, Aashiqui 2 makers set the internet abuzz with their official post announcing Aashiqui 3, also informing that Kartik Aaryan was going to play the male lead in the film. The leading lady is yet to be announced.
