Adah Sharma to take a break from work after Commando promotions due to skin condition

Adah Sharma is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming web series Commando. The show is a spin off of the Commando film franchise and is scheduled to release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 11.  Amid the wait for the show, the actress recently shared a health update with her fans on social media

• Commando is part of the franchise started in 2013 with Commando: A One Man Army. 
• It starred Vidyut Jammwal in the titular role.
• The original film was followed by Commando 2 and Commando 3 in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

Adah Sharma suffering from hives

Taking to her Instagram handle on Friday, Adah first expressed gratitude to her fans. Then, the actress went on to explain that she is currently suffering from hives, a skin condition. “I've been bimaar kuch din se. Hives aa gaye. Hives yeh horrible rash hai. Toh full sleeves pehen ke hide kar rahi thi..chehere pe aa gaye. Stress se ! So then I took dawai and turns out main allergic hu to the dawai so lots and lots of ulti ho gayi. (I’ve been sick for a while, suffering from hives. I am covering it by wearing full sleeves for now, tried to take medicine but turned out I am allergic to it and vomited.) 

Adah said for now she will promote Commando wearing full sleeves and will take a break from work for a few days. Till then, she will keep her fans updated on social media. The actress also hinted at her next project, the filming of which will start this month.

Meanwhile, Commando is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It is touted to be a tale of valour and patriotism. It will feature high-octane action scenes. The show also stars Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Singh Chaudhry, Amit Sial, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Mukesh Chhabra and Ishteyak Khan in major roles.
