After #MeToo Backlash, Preity Zinta Claims Interview Was Insensitively Edited

Preity Zinta drew flak from the social media after a snippet of her video interaction with one of the online portals went viral. The actress, who is seen allegedly mocking the #MeToo movement, cleared the air via a tweet.

Taking to her Twitter handle on Monday - November 19, Preity Zinta said she is highly disappointment with the way the interview has been edited. "Really sad 2see how the interview Is edited to trivialis& be insensitive. Not everything is traction & as someone being interviewed, I expected decency & maturity from journalist @iFaridoon. I did 25 interviews that day & only yours turned out edited like this #disappointed," she said. Read her tweet below: 

She even replied to the official handle of #MeToo movement India, saying, "I’m really suprised  & upset that journalists like @iFaridoon take an interview & edit it to sound controversial for better traction.  If I said “I wish someone had bothered me” - it meant I would have probable beaten them up if they had... Interviews taken out of context #Metoo."
