Ajay Devgn announces a special edition of Tanhaji in Amar Chitra Katha

Makers of the film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, have come up with something special for all the children. Ajay Devgn, who will be portraying the role of Tanaji Malusare in his upcoming film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, has uploaded a video on his social media handle to announce a special edition of Amar Chitra Katha featuring Tanaji. According to reports, a majority of the kids love to read Amar Chitra Katha. Tanaji is one such military leader in the Maratha Empire whose story needs to be heard and told.

Ajay Devgn uploaded a video with glimpses of pages from the copy. Kajol who is also a part of the film uploaded the teaser of the video on her social media handle as she wrote that it is a story of a brave warrior, a faithful friend, and a loving father. She further mentioned that they are glad to be associated with Amar Chitra Katha.

About the film

The film, Tanhaji, is directed by Om Raut and it stars Ajay Devgn as the title character, Tanaji, Saif Ali Khan as Uday Bhan and Kajol as Savitri Malusare. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who is an unsung warrior of the glorious Indian history and the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire. The movie is set to hit the silver screens on January 10, 2020. Fans are reportedly looking forward to this Ajay-Kajol collaboration.
