The upcoming movie Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior was earlier set to clash at the box-office with Anees Bazmee's Pagalpanti. The cast of Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior includes Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn will be seen essaying the role of Tanaji Malusare the Maratha leader. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the shoes of Udaybhan Rathod and will be playing the antagonist. The film is directed by Om Raut, and produced by Ajay Devgn, under the banner of Ajay Devgn Films. Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior has been slated for a release on January 10, 2020.
