Akshay Kumar & Bobby Deol: List of films starring the duo

Ajnabee (2001)

The duo shared the screen-space for the first time in the Abas-Mastan directorial, Ajnabee. This 2001 release also features Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu as the lead characters. The performances of the actors gained a positive review from the audience and the critics. The movie entered the list of super hit films of the year 2001.  Booby Deol played the protagonist and Akshay Kumar portrayed the character of the villain.

Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo (2004)

The duo again featured together after three years in the war-drama Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo in 2004. The film was directed by Anil Sharma and Sanjay Sharma. The film also stars actor Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. The film performed average at the box-office. 

Dosti: Friends Forever (2005)

The success of their previous ventures together proved that the audience loved the duo on-screen. Right after Ab Tumahare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, the Ajnabee actors headed towards their third project in 2005. The Suneel Darshan directorial also features Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta as the leading ladies in the film.

Thank You (2011)

Director Anees Bazmee's rom-com drama Thank You marked the fourth collaboration of Kumar and Deol. The duo reunited after 6 years. Though the film didn't work well at the box-office, fans appreciated it for the comic timings of the actors. The film narrates the life of three married couples and the complications faced by them.

Currently, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol are gearing up for their upcoming comedy flick Housefull 4. The trailer and songs of the film are loved by fans of the franchise. Housefull 4 is slated to release on October 25, 2019.  The multi-starrer film also features Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
