Akshay Kumar 'sneaks' into a Metro 'like a boss', is mesmerised

Our Bollywood stars are known for their swanky cars, and that’s perhaps the reason why some of them taking the autorickshaw or even the bicycle often makes headlines. But will anyone dare to travel in a crowded train in Mumbai during peak hours? Well, not the fully packed local train, but Akshay Kumar did ‘sneak’ into a Metro and was pleasantly surprised to complete a two-hour journey, owing to traffic, in flat 20 minutes.

Akshay Kumar left mesmerised by Mumbai Metro 

Sharing a video from inside the Metro, Akshay is heard saying, “Right now, I’m in the Metro. I have sneaked into it. I was shooting at Ghatkopar and I had to travel to Versova, and my map showed the estimated time as 2 hours and 5 minutes. And my director Raj (Mehta), who has director ‘Good Newwz’, he suggested, ‘Let’s take a Metro.’ I said, ‘Let’s take a risk and go.’ So, I got with me the security guards and I’m quietly sitting in a corner. Maybe, some people know it, I’m not sure about the others. Will show you the view.” 

Akshay Kumar then showed a visual of the packed compartment he was travelling in. The ‘Khiladi’ then exulted, “I’m reaching in just 20 minutes. A 2-hour journey has been completed in just 20 minutes. I am really enjoying this.”

Akshay Kumar then continued, “I think this is the only transportation which is at an elevation. And this remains unaffected how much ever water gets collected due to the rains. It keeps moving ahead." 

Akshay Kumar then thanked Raj for the idea and even the director acknowledged it by making it in front of the camera. 

The actor captioned the video, “My ride for today, the @MumMetro...travelled #LikeABoss from Ghatkopar to Versova beating the peak hours traffic.”

Metro love 

Before Akshay Kumar, his co-star of many movies, Amitabh Bachchan has also praised the Metro. Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted, “Friend of mine had a medical emergency, decided to take METRO instead of his car .. came back very impressed .. said was faster, convenient and most efficient ..  Solution for Pollution .. Grow more trees .. I did in my garden .. have you.”
