Alia Bhatt made her debut with Karan Johar’s romantic drama, Student of the Year(2012), and then went on to star in movies from diverse genres, like Highway and Raazi. Recently, the actor made news when Karan Johar announced his movie 'Takht'.  Here is a compilation of other upcoming movies by Alia Bhatt.

Takht(2020)

Karan Johar recently announced his upcoming movie Takht. It is a multi-starrer movie based on the rivalry between Aurangzeb and his brother. The lead cast includes Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in Diwali.

RRR (2020)

The Telugu movie is based on two legendary revolutionaries and their journey away from home before they started fighting for their country in the 1920s. The movie is directed by S.S.Rajamouli. Alia Bhatt would be teaming up with Ram Charan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ajay Devgan. The character of Alia Bhatt in the movie has been revealed yet. It is slated to hit the theatres in 2020.

Brahmastra (2020)

The movie is the first part of a superhero trilogy. It is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. The lead cast of the movie includes Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. Amitabh Bachchan would be seen playing the character of ‘Brahma’ and Alia is cast as Tara ‘Tia’ Bajwa. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in May 2020.

Sadak 2 (2020)

Sadak 2 is an action drama starring Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt is directorial by Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt. The film is about Ravi's depression and how he helps a young woman expose a fake guru. The film is slated to release on 25 March 2020. The characters of the movie are yet to be announced.

Jilliahsmen Trinity 2.5: Passport 

The movie is directed by Jilliah. The only lead actress announced in the movie is Alia Bhatt who is Sapna in the movie.  It is a movie based on the story where there is only one PASSPORT to Jilliahsmen Trinity's Atlantis existing on Earth. Sapna from the old country must court the bad man to be allowed the new world.
