After months of hush-hush and sneak-peek, the two finally opened up about their relationship status, and are often papped in and around the city. And now given that Ranbir Kapoor's father, Rishi Kapoor returned from New York after a period of 11 months, the actress was papped outside their residence for the veteran actor's homecoming. In a series of posts, Alia can be seen painting a pretty picture dressed in a yellow suit.

Reacting on the same, Alia Bhatt spoke to a tabloid and said that it was not an announcement and she doesn't need to defend what she did because it was very personal for her.

Talking and praising Ranbir Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt also said: "I like and love him very much. He has got a core far deeper than what cinema space can capture.  Ranbir is barely 34 or 35 and though he comes from the great lineage of the Kapoor family, he has a unique charm and talent that’s his own. He is an original, just like Alia is an original."

On the work front: 

The couple’s first film together, ‘Brahmastra’ will only be releasing in the summer of 2020. Brahmastra' is said to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. The sci-fi drama starring  Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy is one of the most-anticipated films of the year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release.
