One would’ve believed the details of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘wedding’ on first glimpse of a card of their wedding that went viral recently. However, some of the mistakes on it like the spelling of Alia’s name and her father Mahesh Bhatt being mentioned as her uncle Mukesh Bhatt, made people realise that it was a fake card. While Alia Bhatt laughed off the hype surrounding the card, two people who were mentioned on the card, her mother Soni Razdan and uncle Mukesh Bhatt have reacted strongly to it. While Soni Razdan stated that the ‘miscreants’ shouldn’t be given any publicity, Mukesh Bhatt said that he had been contacted by people across the country over it and termed the development as ‘sad.’

Fans of ‘Ralia’ went on an overdrive after an image of a wedding card that claimed that the couple will get married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on January 22, 2020. After the speculation, Soni Razdan in a statement to a media publication said that the ‘miscreants’ should not be given more publicity than they deserve. The Raazi actor also termed it as a ‘non-issue.’ Mukesh Bhatt, on the other hand, told the publication that his niece Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for the home production Sadak 2 in Ooty. The veteran producer added that he was receiving calls from across the country to react to the same. He termed it as ‘sad’, while highlighting the mistakes on the card. This is not the first time that the Ranbir-Alia wedding rumours have surfaced. Mukesh Bhatt had denied the rumours once before too.
