This cold war or let's say the war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt takes a new twist. Recently in an interview Kangana Ranaut made a comment on Alia Bhatt's performance in 'Gully Boy. She said: 'Stop pampering mediocre work' and later sister Rangoli Chandel endorsed her views saying 'love my sister' on Twitter.

Her exact quote was: "I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ....same snappy muh phat girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far...stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised."

Now, reacting to her comments, Alia Bhatt in all her maturity has replied to the actress. She said: "I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough."

Alia Bhatt earlier too had in a calm and composed way had replied to Kangana when she had accused her for not supporting her film 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi'. Bhatt had then said: "I don’t want to talk about it in the media. As I have said before, I really admire her as an actor and the choices that she makes. She’s a very outspoken person and I admire her for that as well. If I have upset her unintentionally, then I don’t know. Basically, it wasn’t my intention. I didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this."

Kangana had also called out Alia and her rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for being apolitical and not voicing their views about national issues. To that, Alia responded in February at a press event. “I hope she doesn’t dislike me and I don’t think she dislikes me. I don’t think I have done anything intentionally to upset her. If I have, I will apologise to her on a personal level,”
