She had made her Bollywood debut in the year 1999 as a child artist in the thriller, Sangharsh. Bhatt managed to get her first lead role in the year 2012 in Karan Johar's teen drama Student of the Year.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan turned out to be a favourite among the audiences. The movie had a set of powerful dialogues, and this is one of them.

The dialogue is from the movie Highway. Alia Bhatt was appreciated for her intense acting in the movie. The movie also starred Randeep Hooda who was playing the role of a gangster-turned-kidnapper.

"Tu bottle soonghta reh jayega aur meri khatam ho jayegi".

This dialogue is from Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulhania when Alia challenges Varun and beats him easily at it. This dialogue was delivered so well by the actor that memes have been made over it.
