'Always so insightful': Anil Kapoor does some 'catching up' with 'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle

Looks like Bollywood's evergreen star Anil Kapoor is in a reunion spree as he recently met his 'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle in London. The actor on Saturday, May 25, took to Twitter and revealed that they talked about family, friends and the future. He further mentioned that conversations with Boyle are always insightful. 

Shared a picture with the ace filmmaker, he wrote, "Catching up with #DannyBoyle in London! We spoke about family, friends & the future...Conversations with him are always so insightful! All the best for #Yesterday Danny, looking forward to watching it soon!"

Anil Kapoor was an important part of the Academy Award-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire'. The multi-Academy award-winning film brought him critical acclaim from across the world for his flamboyant and nuanced portrayal of game show host Prem Kumar.

Following its release in 2009, 'Slumdog Millionaire' had gone on to be nominated for 10 Academy Awards, of which it won eight-- including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It had also won seven BAFTA Awards including Best Film, five Critics' Choice Awards, and four Golden Globes.

On the occasion of 10 years of 'Slumdog Millionaire,' Anil Kapoor had put out a post saying that he feels 'honoured' to be a part of the celebrated project. Reminiscing his journey of the making of the film, he said, "What a journey this has been! I feel blessed to be a part of movies that strive to break boundaries."
