Amitabh Bachchan, who is known as Big B, Bollywood’s Shahenshah, The Angry Young Man, and Mahanayak, is quite open about his views on social media. The megastar has recently shared his words of wisdom on social media about how it is a tricky medium of expression. He has previously said that social media is the atomic bomb of the modern generation. He feels that users can easily voice their opinions and have the capability to give a perspective to any comment to make it political or otherwise.

Big B's iconic statements on social media

In July 2019, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle to express his opinion on what power social media holds.

Earlier in April 2019, he also tweeted, “The social media is the modern generation's atomic bomb. It has the capacity to exercise a chilling response to the enemy; bringing them down to their knees, seeking pardon.” Amitabh also manages his personal blog. He wrote on his blog, “Over 7 billion humans in the universe now have opinion and voice and capability to give a perspective to any move political or otherwise. And see it being spread through the medium it employs across the continents of habituated being... It is a scary ultimatum”.
