Amyra Dastur is an Indian actor. She is also known as Amy Rohinton Dastur. The actor debuted in the Bollywood film industry in the year 2013. The actor started her career as a model and featured in many commercials before turning to Bollywood.

Biography

Amyra Dastur was born on May 7, 1993, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Gulzar Dastur and Delna Dastur. Her father Gulzar Dastur is a surgeon and the director of Bhatia Hospital. Her mother Delna is an advertising professional. She has a younger brother, Jehangir Dastur, who is a professional chef. Amyra pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from H. R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.

Amyra Dastur’s first film in Bollywood was the 2013 release Isaaq. She starred in the movie alongside Prateik Babbar. The actor also did a lot of South Indian movies and is a well-known name in that industry. She starred in Tamil and Telugu movies like Anegan, Manasuku Nachindi, and Raju Gadu. Amyra Dastur bagged an international project in 2017 with Kung Fu Yoga, which starred the legendary actor Jackie Chan. She also starred in Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi in 2018. Dastur played the role of Neha, who is the fiancée of Angad, played by Akshay Oberoi.

Amyra was seen next in Rajma Chawal. The movie is a Netflix Original that also stars Rishi Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Mukesh Chhabra. Amyra plays the role of Shivi, Ali Fazal's on-screen romantic interest.
