Actor-director Satish Kaushik died earlier this year, leaving fans heartbroken. Today, on Friendship day, actor Anupam Kher shared an emotional post on his social media handle, remembering his close friend . The two had known each other right from their initial years in the industry.

Kher, Kaushik worked together in over 30 films

Anupam Kher remembered his friend Satish Kaushik, who died earlier this year, on the Friendship Day 2023.His Instagram caption read: “Happy Friendship day! Missing Satish a little extra today.” The said post had another picture. In it, Kher and Kaushik are with actor Anil Kapoor. In 2002, Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik co-produced the film Badhaai Ho Badhaai.

Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik had worked together in more than 30 films together. Films like Ram Lakhan, Deewana Mastana and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have some memorable comic scenes with the two. Later, when Satish Kaushik began directing films, he cast Kher in films like Roop ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.

Anupam Kher was the main speaker at Satish Kaushik's memorial service

Satish Kaushik passed away earlier this year on March 9 due to a heart attack. He was 66 years old when he breathed his last. At the memorial service, held on April 13, Anupam Kher was the main speaker on stage. He spoke very highly of Kaushik, recalling fond memories of their early days together.

The renowned actor-director was active till his last days. The year 2022 had him appear in prominent roles in films like Thar, Sharmaji Namkeen and Chhatriwali.
