Anurag Kashyap responds to actress Ruhi Singh's claims of being harassed by his impostor, says 'don't fall for this'

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap responded to actress Ruhi Singh's claims stating that she is harassed by a stalker who is using the filmmaker's name.

Renowned Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap was recently pointed out after actress Ruhi Singh claimed in a recent interview that she is harassed by a stalker who is using the filmmaker's name. Following the same, Kashyap responded to Ruhi's statement and revealed that she is not the only one harassed by the impostor. He said that the stalker harassed a lot of people for the last two years using his name.

He further clarified that he has only one phone number so it cannot be him and requested people not to fall in the trap. Sharing a report that stated Ruhi's story on Twitter, the director wrote, "This Impostor has been harassing a lot of people for the last two years. I only have one InDian number wherever in the world I travel. Don’t fall for this impostor and immediately report him if one gets a text from any overseas number pretending to be me. Thank you"

As per media reports, Ruhi who knew Anurag personally said that she was sure that it was not him and has already filed a complaint against the imposter. 

Anurag Kashyap whose romantic drama 'Manmarziyaan' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal released last year, is yet to announce his upcoming project. He is known to be a family person and often share pictures with his daughter.
