Aryan Khan's voice-over as Simba in Lion King remake hailed by industry biggies Deepika Padukone, Anurag Kashyap & Riteish Deshmukh

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan are voicing for King Mufasa and his son Simba respectively in the upcoming Hindi version of live-action animated film 'The Lion King'. After sharing a teaser where he was heard as Mufasa for the very first time, SRK on Thursday, July 11, unveiled a teaser where Aryan is heard for the first time as Simba.

In the 29 second promo, the star kid can be heard saying, "Main Hoon Simba, Mufasa Ka Beta." This is the second time the audience is hearing Aryan's voice as his first stint was during 'The Incredibles' in 2004.

The voice-over has not only widely lauded by the viewers but has received huge appreciation from Bollywood celebrities. Several celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, and others have come forward to congratulate the star-kid.

Following the same, proud father Shah Rukh Khan put out a post thanking on behalf of his son thanking everyone for the appreciation. The actor who is known for his witty nature further teased the fans saying, "Doesn’t his voice sound a bit familiar? Or is it just me?"

Besides Bollywood's favorite father-son duo Shah Rukh and Aryan Khan, other big names who will be voicing the characters of the upcoming film include,  Ashish Vidyarthi as Scar, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa and veteran actor Govardhan Asrani will dub for Zazu. The animated classic's trailer features our favourite characters in new avatars while keeping the essence of the classic alive.

From the trailer, it seems like the upcoming film is a shot-by-shot remake of the 1994 animated film. With the screenplay written by Jeff Nathanson and songs by legends like Elton John and Time Rice, the movie is helmed by Jon Favreau.

The film will hit the theatres on July 19 and will release in Indian in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
