Speaking in an interview with Spotboye, he said that there were many characters in the film whose screen time has been cut down drastically. Explaining how the quarrel began, he said that she initially liked his cut but then started demanding changes, which culminated in her asking Sonu Sood's character Sadashiv Rao be killed before the interval.  This led to a quarrel between the two and that the producer Kamal Jain also sided with her.

Eventually, when things could not be patched up, Krish left for Hyderabad to start working on 'N.T.R Kathanayakudu' and learnt that Kangana will be directing the film herself. After Krish walked out, he revealed that Sonu also opted out of the project after such a drastic cut in his screen time. He even went on called Kangana as really rude and that she used to tell him that he had anger management issues when it was her who shouted at him, he claims.

But it was not all criticism as Krish confessed that the main film had not been tampered with a lot and that he was happy that she did not spoil it much as a filmmaker. However, he was quick to point out that she only directed certain portions of the film and has yet taken credit for it. But Krish feels that people should not be drawn in by controversy to watch the film.

In the meantime, the film has been jumping from strength to strength and has been raking in the moolah at the box office.
