Ayushmann And Bhumi's 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' Completes One Year

2017 saw a lot of Bollywood films addressing social causes. Be it addressing the taboo surrounding Erectile dysfunction or open defecation or vasectomy. Owing to films like 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan', 'Toilet..Ek Prem Katha'  and 'Poster Boys' that chose to tread the path that's less taken. These films made the public take notice of matters and recently one of these films 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar completed one year on September 1.

Both the stars took to their Instagram accounts to mark one-year completion of the film. In her another post, Bhumi shared the poster of the film and wrote: @ayushmannk, Mudit and Sugandha forever.. Meanwhile, film's lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana too shared a motions poster of the film celebrating one year of 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan'.  In his post, Ayushmann wrote: Always stand up for love! 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' that was directed by RS Prasanna who was produced by Anand L Rai. 

WHAT'S NEXT FOR BHUMI AND AYUSHMANN?

On the professional front, Bhumi Pednekar will next be seen in 'Son Chiriya' co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. Bhumi who is known for doing socially relevant content-driven films will be seen playing dacoit in the 'Son Chiriya'. The actress has also been signed on for Karan Johar's next directorial 'Takht', a period drama that consists of an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.  

Ayushmann Khurrana too is all set for his upcoming film 'Andhadhun'. The trailer of the film was unveiled recently, that also stars Radhika Apte and Tabu. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, 'Andhadhun' will release on October 5. Apart from that Ayushmann will also be seen alongside Sanya Malhotra in 'Badhaai ho'.
