Ayushmann Khurrana invests in start-up, will feature in their ads

On October 22, 2019, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana had a piece of good news for his admirers. The actor announced his investment in a start-up company, called The Man Company. The actor reportedly invested an undisclosed sum of amount in The Man Company and is planning to feature in all their brand advertisements.

With the investment, the actor has joined the long list of Bollywood celebrities who have invested in start-ups in recent times. The actor has not released an official statement on his investment. But Hitesh Dhingra, the Founder and Managing Director of The Man Company, stated that the investment was strategic and said that the actor will not hold any position in the Board of Directors.

The Man Company, a branch of Helios Lifestyle has reportedly received funds from various homegrown investors. One such investor is the Kolkata based FMCG brand Emami Limited. Reportedly, Emami owns a 30 per cent stake in the start-up.

On the professional front

On the professional front, Ayushmann Khurrana will next be seen in Amar Kaushik directorial Bala. The movie, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam in the lead, narrates the tale of a man suffering from premature balding. Other than Bala, the actor will be seen in the sequel to his 2017 hit, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The sequel, titled Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, will star Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, and Maanvi Gagroo in the lead. Reportedly, the movie will narrate the love story of a gay couple. The makers of the film recently released the teaser of the film sometime back. Have a look at the teaser.
