Ayushmann Khurrana shares how Andhadun 'shaped him as an actor'

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun has nearly completed a year following its release. The mystery-thriller has won a National Award as well during this period. At an event celebrating its anniversary, Ayushmann is super nostalgic about the film and spoke about how it is responsible for shaping him as an actor. He also shared some light on how the film taught him to make him more ambitious.

Ayushmann says Andhadhun shaped him as an actor

In a recent interview with a news daily, the Vicky Donor actor said that he is a constant learner of the craft of acting. Ayushmann always looks for movies that challenge his thinking abilities and improve his skills. Ayushmann added that Andhadhun allowed him to showcase a different side of him as an actor, which surprised him as much as the audience. The 35-year-old made a special mention to Sriram Raghavan, the director of the film, for trusting him with his vision for the film.

At the event, Ayushmann shared a series of graphical videos. The first one included his graphic figure in all his past roles. It was a nostalgic, short snap video nostalgia from all his past roles and had the background music from Andhadhun in the form of the keyboard tune, which made every fan go gaga over it. Khurrana captioned the video as ‘Ab tak ki kahaani’. The second video was another graphical throwback video of Andhadhun.

Andhadhun is a mystery-thriller with a pinch of comedy starring Radhika Apte and Tabu. Ayushmann won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the thriller. The film also won the Best Hindi Film award and an honour for its screenplay writer. Currently, Ayushmann is busy working on the promotions for his upcoming movie, Bala.
