The highly anticipated Ayushmann Khurrana starrer, Bala, has hit theatres on November 7. Bala also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. The film deals with the issue of premature baldness. Recently, the makers of the film had recently organised a screening for the film industry. Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz, Jahnvi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and many others attended the screening.

Ayushmann Khurrana has had a successful 2019. The actor won the National Film Award for Best Actor for the 2018 thriller, Andhadhun. Besides the accolade, Ayushmann had two box-office hits in 2019. The first, was a sleeper hit, Article 15, a crime-drama directed by Anubhav Sinha. The second release was the romantic-comedy, Dream Girl, which emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of this year. Expectations are high from Bala, and given the anticipation amongst the filmgoers, the film is scheduled to be a box-office success.
