The team of Sunny Singh-led Ujda Chaman is ready to take on the so-called ‘biggie’ as far its clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala is concerned. As both the teams clash over similar plots and posters, even release dates and the law is coming into the picture. After the two films were slated to clash at the box office as well, the makers of Ujda Chaman are now ensuring that they have an edge over the latter at least in terms of creating the first impression. The team has now rescheduled their release date, to a week before its earlier scheduled date of November 8.

On Wednesday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced that the movie is hitting the screens one week earlier than scheduled on November 1. He also shared a poster of the movie. Sunny Singh is seen with Maanvi Gagroo in the poster.

Ever-changing release dates

Earlier, Bala was supposed to hit the theatres on November 22, but it first took up the release date of Bhoot Chapter 1: the Haunted Ship, November 15 as the latter shifted to February 2020. 10 days after the trailer of Ujda Chaman surfaced, the makers of Bala also unveiled its trailer and announced that it was releasing on November 7, a day before Ujda Chaman was supposed to release. The team of Ujda Chaman had then termed the change of release date as ‘unethical’.

The latest reports also claim that the team of Ujda Chaman is planning to send a legal notice to Bala team. They are also knocking on the doors of the Supreme Court to stall the release of Bala for copyright infringement. Both the stories revolve around the battles a balding man has to face. One of the posters are also alike, where the protagonist is watering his head. It’d now be interesting to see if the makers of Bala change the release date once again.
