Bhumi Pednekar is a well-known Indian film actor. She has been part of many successful films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017). The actor has also worked with Yash Raj Films as an assistant casting director for six years. She has also bagged Best Female Debut Filmfare Award for her stellar performance in Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Here are some of the best dialogues of the actor from her iconic movies.

“Mujhe bhi teen cheez ka hi shauk raha hai bachpan se, ek bus teacher lag jau, dusri teacher lagte hi koi byah le mujhko aur teesi khyal rakhe wo mera, bus maan de mujhe”

This famous dialogue of Bhumi Pednekar was from her debut movie Dum Lagake Haisha. She portrayed the role of an overweight bride in the movie. Her character was that of a simple girl who wanted her significant other to respect her for her size and love her unconditionally. The movie also featured Ayushmann Khurrana is the lead role.

“Darwazay Demaag Ke Khulay Rakho, Bathroom Ke Nahe”

Bhumi Pednekar next appeared opposite Akshay Kumar in the movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The movie was based on the social issue that revolved around the importance of having a toilet inside the house. The above dialogue conveys the same message of why it is important to have toilet at home and not defecate in the open.

Bhumi once again paired up with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Savdhaan. The movie was hilarious with a social message in it. She portrayed the role of Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife. She was the supportive wife to her husband while he was suffering from erectile dysfunction issue. The above dialogue also conveyed the same message that she says to her husband after marriage.

The above dialogue is from Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming film Saand Ki Aankh. The movie also features Taapsee Pannu in the prominent role. The movie is a biopic and is slated to release on October 25, 2019.
