Bhumi Pednekar made her debut in Bollywood with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, for which she gained a lot of weight to fit into her character. The actor had immediately reduced weight for her next movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Fans got to know about her weight-loss transformation when the news of Bhumi losing 21kgs in 4 months was disclosed. Bhumi stunned her fans with her incredible transformation. The drastic change in her body spoke enough about her fitness regime. Bhumi is very frequently seen sharing her work-out videos on her social media. Bhumi Pednekar talks about her fitness regime

In an interview, Bhumi Pednekar shared a few tips for her fans who were working on achieving their fitness goals. She spoke about the importance of playing sports. She asked her fans to eat right rather than just working out. The Shubh Mangal Saavdhan actor also earlier revealed that she loved to play badminton. Her regular badminton sessions contributed towards toning her upper body, she added.

Bhumi Pednekar’s diet secrets

In conversation with media, Bhumi shared her diet plan with her fans. Here is a quick run-through of Bhumi’s daily diet, as shared by the actor.

  • Bhumi starts her day by having two eggs with gluten-free bread, or a big bowl of Muesli with cashew or almond milk.
  • She shared that her lunch usually would include one roti and a big bowl of dal.
  • Bhumi said that she preferred her dinner to include protein, so she would either have grilled fish or chicken with some brown rice.
  • She sometimes munches on fox nuts and khakras as a mid-meal.

Earlier this year, Bhumi Pednekar came live on her Instagram portal on the occasion of her birthday. Her fans took the opportunity to ask her a few questions about her weight-loss journey. While answering a few of them, Bhumi Pednekar stated that there was no short cut to eating clean. And her weight-loss schedule includes more of a vegetarian diet. She said that people should try keeping their body as alkaline as possible by having apple cider vinegar every day in the morning. She concluded by saying that one should not skip the gym at any cost.

In a candid interview, she also shared a very delightful message for her fans. She said that if you want to achieve something, nothing could stop you from doing so and also that your body would always remain beautiful if you treat it in the right manner.
