Bollywood Actor Imran Khan Turns Director For A Short Film Titled 'Mission Mars: Keep Walking India'

Bollywood actor Imran Khan who has been missing from the limelight from the past three years now is back with his directorial venture. He recently directed a short film titled 'Mission Mars: Keep Walking India'.

Bollywood actor Imran Khan who has been missing from the limelight from the past three years now is back with his directorial venture. The 35-year-old actor who first made his debut with the film 'Jaane Tu Ya Janne Na' is now back in action after directing a short film titled 'Mission Mars: Keep Walking India'. The actor further took to the photo-sharing app, Instagram to share a teaser of his project. The short film has been written by Imran Khan and has been produced by Dharma 2.0. As per media reports, the actor stated that it has been an enriching experience writing and directing the film and the fact that it was backed by Johnnie Walker- The Journey and Dharma 2.0, the journey was made even more special. Sharing the teaser of the short film, he said "Slingshot is now Mission Mars. Liftoff September 20th."

The short film is said to be inspired from the country's first interplanetary mission 'Mangalyaan' that was launched in 2014. Reportedly, speaking on the subject further, Khan revealed that the project has made everybody very proud and that he has tried to encapsulate the spirit of all the people who made the achievement of this short film possible. Actor Imran Khan was last seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in ' Katti Batti'. He made a debut with the blockbuster film ' Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na', that also fetched him a Filmfare Award, and is loved by the audience dearly till date. The 35-year-old is known best for his film such as ' Delhi Belly', 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' starring alongside Katrina Kaif, 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and ' Break Ke Baad.' along with Deepika Padukone.
