Bollywood has bought numerous trends & inspired many fans/ followers to follow it in terms of fashion. Here are some of the most memorable trends of all time.

Bollywood has seen numerous trends coming and going but some of the trends took over India like a storm. Some trends just sparked and inspired several fans and followers to follow the trends in terms of fashion both in daily life and theme parties. Here are some of the memorable trends that you will definitely be able to relate to:

1: Hum Aapke Hai Kaun:

Madhuri Dixit in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun is not only remembered for her beauty and innocence in the movie but also for the two major fashion trends she bought. One being the blackless blouse she sported in the song Didi Tera Dever Deewana and other the red lace dress she wore in Yeh Mausam ka Jaadu hai Mitwa. This is one of Madhuri's most popular roles to date.

2: Mumtaz Saree:

Whenever we talk about sarees, one style that comes to everyone's mind is 'Mumtaz Saree' that took all over India. This amazing saree trend started when the actor sported this saree in Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar song. This different type of coiled saree style is elegant yet quirky at the same time.

3: Sadhana Cut:

The fringe hairstyle became quite popular among the fans and was a major fashion trend at that time. This fringe hairstyle was sported by Sadhana Shivdasani in her debut film. She opted for this hairstyle to make her forehead look a little narrow. After that, this haircut was opted by many women and became popular with the name of the actor as "Sadhana Cut" and till today it is known by this name.

4: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai produced by Dharma Productions was a successful movie and was a major trendsetter of Bollywood. The POLO inscribed t-shirt and COOL locket donned by Shah Rukh became a major trend for many. Even Kajol's short blunt haircut became trend and stylists had thousands of mane post the movie release. The dual coloured sarees and velvet blouse sported by Kajol was another trend at that time.

5: Polka Dots:

Bollywood famous celebrity Dimple Kapadia's look in the movie Bobby created a lot of buzz around the country. The knotted polka dot blouse and mini-skirts were making rounds in the markets. Even today, it is one of the most common style to opt for a casual day out or Bollywood theme parties.

6: Tere Naam: 

Several Bollywood movies bought numerous trends while some stayed forever some went off after a while. But one of the major trends that the Dabangg actor bought is still fresh in everyone's mind. The Tere Naam hairstyle sported by Salman Khan was a major trendsetter. Very other young boy was seen sporting the haircut after its release. 

7: The Hippie Look:

Zeenat Aman's 60s hippie look in Yaadon ki Baarat is still one of the favourite and popular dress style. People still opt for this look when it comes to dressing for a Bollywood theme party. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in the film.
