Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan teaser: Yagya Bhasin, Anupam Kher are on a mission

The makers have brought to life the much-loved animation show Chhota Bheem. The teaser of the live-action version titled Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan was released on Tuesday, starring Anupam Kher, Makarand Deshpande, and more. The titular part of Chhota Bheem is played by child actor Yagya Bhasin.

• The film is slated to release next year in May. 

Chhota Bheem is all set to fight the evils to protect his loved ones

The teaser opens up with Chhota Bheem (played by Yagya Bhasin) making a power-packed entry by showing off his powers by fighting people twice his age. In the clip, he goes back in time and fights the evils with the help of his Guri Shambhu (played by Anupam Kher) and his gang. Towards the end, Makarand Deshpande is shown as an antagonist of Skandhi.

The teaser also offered a glimpse of Aashriya Mishra as Chutki, Surabhi Tiwari as Tuntun Mausi, Kabir Sajid as Kalia, Advik Jaiswal as Raju, Divyam and Daivik as Dholu-Bholu, Swarna Pandey as Indumathi and Sanjay Bishnoi as Raja (King) Indravarma.

Helmed and produced by Rajiv Chilaka, the film has been written by Niraj Vikram, while the music has been composed by Raghav Sachar. Opening up about his film Chotta Bheem,  the director said, "Chhota Bheem is one of the most beloved characters in the world of animation. It was high time we brought him to life, and I am certain that children and the whole family everywhere will adore it. Our cast has done remarkable work on this film, and I can hardly wait to share it with you all."
