As Children's Day 2019 was celebrated, pictures of Bollywood sibling pairs went viral. These included Shahid Kapoor-Ishaan Khatter and Shraddha Kapoor.

Bollywood stars love to share their pics from many years ago on 'Throwback Thursday.' One can imagine their delight when there was another occasion, co-incidentally on the same day, that allowed them to go back in time. Stars enjoyed marking both 'TBT' and Children’s Day on Thursday, as they took a trip down memory lane. As a result, fans of Shahid Kapoor-Ishaan Khatter and Shraddha Kapoor-Siddhanth Kapoor, got some delightful snaps of the sibling duos to witness.

Ishaan Khatter shared a rare and adorable picture from many years ago on his Instagram stories. In the photo, that seemed to be from the youngster’s birthday, he is seated on his mother Neelima Azeem’s lap as she makes him play with a car toy and other gifts. Shahid Kapoor is also seen seated to the right of the duo, much leaner than he is now, but having the same hairstyle that he sported in some of his initial music videos like Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra. Ishaan, using the hashtag #throwback, captioned the post, “Happy Children’s Day.” Ishaan’s father Rajesh Khatter is also seen sitting in front of the little one in the snap.

Shraddha Kapoor too shared a cute snap with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor. Both seem to be dressed in colour-ordinated green traditional outfits, while their eyes to the cameras also stood out. Shraddha captioned the post, “Happy Children’s day!!! 🤗😘❤️” Siddhanth also shared the same snap on his profile. 

Other Children’s Day wishes 

Earlier in the day, many other stars also went back in time for Children’s Day. Bipasha Basu, sharing a throwback picture, wrote, “Mini me and my Swag😀 While didi is trying to look camera friendly 😂 😂 My childhood is precious and amazing thanks to my awesome parents and family. ❤️Happy Children’s Day❤️ #blessed.” 

Varun Dhawan shared an intense message conveying the meaning of light and wrote, “Keep the child Alive in you. Doesn’t matter what everyone thinks. Happy children’s day.”

Arjun Kapoor shared a snap of his parents, Boney and Mona Kapoor and wrote, “So it’s children’s day today & I thought I must thank my parents for allowing me to have this amazing life growing up as a child...despite all their ups & downs I was always treated with love respect & care...they let me become my own person & be what I am today... also belated Happy birthday Dad. May ur love for matching tracksuits long continue... Love you... have an amazing year and stay the way you are...miss your smile Mom nowadays more than ever...hope u happy wherever you are...”
