CONFIRMED: Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra Are Now Man And Wife, Exchange Vows In A Christian Wedding

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in a western Christian ceremony on Saturday, December 1. The bride and groom wore custom Ralph Lauren outfits and their wedding bands were by Chopard. The other Jonas' brothers Kevin, Joe, and Frankie along with Priyanka's younger brother Siddharth were groomsmen at the ceremony. The couple will have their Hindu ceremony on Sunday. 

The news was first broken by People Magazine and was then picked up by Vogue India, and other publications. 

Designer Ralph Lauren also took to his Instagram profile and confirmed the news of the couple exchanging rings. For the occasion, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra wore a custom-made Ralph Lauren gown while Nick sported a custom-made purple label tuxedo. The entire Chopra and Jonas family were dressed in Ralph Lauren ensembles. 

 

Ahead of the wedding, The palace looked beautiful in daylight, but it adorned a magnificent look in the evening. A video of the palace wonderfully lit up in gold has been going viral on social media and IT looked like a true monument. A closer view of the venue saw it also sporting a dark blue hue. 

The couple reached Jodhpur in a charter plane and on their way out of the airport got surrounded by the media persons.  As the scene got slightly chaotic, Nick is seen asking the crowd to take it easy, while Peecee is seen holding her fiance’s arm on the way out. The couple didn’t pose or acknowledge the media present at the venue, unlike their warm acknowledgement of the paparazzi in Mumbai earlier in the day. Priyanka also didn’t answer when asked how excited she is for her marriage. However, she is seen saying ‘Sambhal ke’ (take care) to the crowd as the number of persons increased.    

The wedding customs had started on November 28 with a puja held at Peecee’s previous home. The Mehendi and the Sangeet are reportedly took place on November 29. The wedding will be followed by two receptions, to be held in Mumbai and Delhi later.

 

According to reports, Salman Khan and his family, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Roy Kapur are likely guests for the wedding.
