Dabangg 3: Salman Khan is team's favourite; stars share in BTS video

The name Dabangg has got added, almost like a middle name, to Salman Khan. The action-comedy that was among the major reasons that ‘resurrected’ the actor's career then, has been so popular among the fans that he has become synonymous with his character Chulbul Pandey. As the franchise gears up for its third installment, Dabangg 3, what’s interesting is that much like the loved character, even the actor is much-adored by his teammates. Ahead of the release of the movie, the makers unveiled a fun-filled behind-the-scenes video where the other members of the cast and crew go gaga over Salman. The video also shows how much love the locals shower on him.

Director Prabhudeva says, “People cheer for him, This time he is talking about himself, how is he, what is he, about his people, about his nature, about his walk,  about talking , that’s Salman sir."Director of Photography, Mahesh Limaye said, “He comes in a T-shirt, and denim, but as soon as soon as he wears the shirt, the moustache and the sunglasses, he is Chulbul Pandey.” Shabina Khan, the choreographer, also sums it up well, "Chulbul Pandey is obviously very Dabangg, he is also very Chulbul. Chulbul Pandey is a comman man.”

The behind-the-scene video also showcases his involvement with the shooting methods, looking into the camera after the shot, having fun with his leading ladies and courteously greeting the other locals. His 'Rajjo' Sonakshi Sinha says, “He always does things really larger than life, it is very very impactful and powerful. It's a pleasure to work with you again, because you’re so quick.” Saiee Manjrekar, who is being launched by Salman, also lavished praises on him, “Salman sir has been the most instrumental for me. He has been so accommodating, so sweet, kind, he’s made me so comfortable on set.”

Kannada star Sudeep, who makes his Bollywood debut with the movie, says, “When everybody says OK, I have seen walk up and say, ‘one more.’ He is a very strong character, it is almost like a superhuman power. He's a wonderful person even on set. I see everybody loving him so much.”

Dabangg 3 

Dabangg 3, also stars Arbaaz Khan, who is also one of the producers. The movie gears up for release on December 20. Salman Khan has also been credited as a writer on the film.
