Salman Khan has helped several actors in launching their careers and has mentored several debutants in Bollywood. Actors like Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Sooraj Pancholi, Daisy Shah, and Zareen Khan are among the few. Another debutante is being mentored by Bollywood's Bhai Saiee Manjrekar, daughter of actor Mahesh Majnekar, who will make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in Dabangg 3. She will reportedly play the role of Salman’s love interest in the film.

Salman’s love interest in Dabangg 3

According to sources, Saiee Manjrekar will play the role of Chulbul Pandey’s love interest in his early 20s. Major part of the movie is said to be a prequel and will show Chulbul Pandey’s life before he became the ‘Robin Hood’ Cop. Salman Khan will be seen in two looks: one in his 20s and the other in the present.  Salman will romance Saiee in the past, while Sonakshi Sinha will reprise her role of Chulbul’s wife, Rajjo in the present.

Salman's no phone policy

Previously, Salman Khan had made a no-phone policy on the sets of Dabangg 3. The superstar made this a rule so that Saiee’s look from the movie would not be revealed. Before that, there have been incidents of leaks from the sets of films. As a method of precaution, the ‘Dabangg’ actor ordered the cast and crew to leave their phone in a box before entering the sets. However, after their first appearance together at IIFA awards, Bollywood's Bhaijaan shared a picture of them from the sets. 

 

Directed by Prabhu Deva, Dabangg 3 is the third installment in the Dabangg franchise. The actor-director duo has previously worked together in 2009 release Wanted, which is said to be a milestone in Salman’s career. Arbaaz Khan will reprise his role of Chulbul Pandey’s brother Makhanchand Pandey. Along with Hindi, Dabangg 3 will also release in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. The movie is slated to release on December 20, 2019.
