After keeping their marriage in Italy hush-hush, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have left their secretive sides aside since they have landed in India. The newlyweds have been happily posing for the cameras who have been tracking their moves, and it was no different at their reception held in Bengaluru on 21 November. The couple came out in their dazzling avatars for the celebration held at The Leela Palace in the city.
The bride was once again styled by Sabysachi Mukherjee for her special day. The actress is seen wearing a golden saree from Angadi Galleria gifted to her by her mother Ujjala Padukone, which she has paired with a white full-sleeved blouse. Her jewellery features a multi-strand pearl necklace and a green choker necklace with matching stud earrings. Her look was completed with the chooda, which she has worn since the Anand Karaj, the wedding according to Sindhi rituals. Her wedding ring is also visible apart from emerald rings and jasmine flowers in her hair, which has been tied in a bun. And not to forget the 'sindoor' on the top of her forehead and the 'tilak' on her head.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh in a break from the norm, wore a Rohit Bal outfit instead of Sabyasachi Mukherjee, for the first time since their Mehendi function. The ‘Simmba’ star has adorned a black and golden embroidered kurta-churidar and traditional footwear matching his outfit.
The reception saw celebrities turning up, like Sudha Murthy, PV Sindhu, Anil Kumble, among others. The couple is reportedly set to host another reception for Bollywood stars in Mumbai in the coming days.
