Deepika Padukone: here is what the Padmaavat actor revealed at MAMI

Deepika Padukone is known to express her views and opinions in a very unfiltered manner on her public appearances. Deepika Padukone recently attended the 21st edition of the Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival. The event took place on October 13, 2019. She was appointed as the Chairperson of the MAMI Annual International Film Festival. The actor was interviewed by eminent media personnel like Anupama Chopra and Jitesh Pillai. Deepika opted for a lovely black and blue polka-dotted dress by designer Marmar Halim. She reportedly spoke about working with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor in the occasion.

Deepika speaks about Ranveer and Ranbir’s work process

Reportedly, Deepika Padukone spoke about the difference between Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor’s work patterns in the industry. She described Ranbir Kapoor as spontaneous and revealed that he does not have a specific process. Deepika Padukone reportedly said that she has never seen Ranbir Kapoor prepare for a role. She further added that she is similar to Ranbir Kapoor when it comes to preparing for a role. Deepika described their preparing for a particular role as 50 per cent spontaneous and 50 per cent rehearsed. She also said that her husband Ranveer Singh geta into the process completely.

'Ranveer Singh completely changes himself for a role'

Deepika Padukone interestingly revealed that Ranveer Singh completely moulds himself for a role. The actor revealed that Ranveer tends to change his car, clothes, and even his personality for a role. Deepika Padukone further revealed that as a result, Ranveer Singh is a different person every six months. She also added that this is the main reason that she never got bored in their relationship.

Deepika Padukone has earlier shared the screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Tamasha and Bachna Ae Haseeno. She has collaborated with Ranveer Singh on films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Deepika Padukone will soon be seen alongside Ranveer Singh again in the film ’83 where she will also play his reel wife, Romi Dev. Deepika will also be seen in the Meghna Gulzar directorial film Chhapaak opposite Vikrant Massey.
