Deepika Padukone's younger sister Anisha plays a key role in her life

Anisha Padukone is the youngest kid in the Padukone family. Deepika Padukone’s younger sister, Anisha Padukone is also a former sports player. Anisha is an Indian professional golf-player and a self-proclaimed sports fanatic and foodie. Anisha Padukone is five years younger to her older sister, Deepika. Anisha’s early life:

Anisha was born on February 2, 1991, in Bangalore. She completed her schooling from Sophia High School, Bangalore and got graduated from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Unlike her father, Prakash Padukone and her sister, Deepika, Anisha decided to break the rule and opted for golfing as a career. She started playing golf at the age of 12. Anisha had reached the top- ten national rankings as an amateur and has represented India internationally. Anisha has also experimented with basketball and cricket in her early career times.

Live Love Laugh Foundation:

Apart from playing golf, the 28-year-old also is a co-director of Live Love Laugh Foundation. The foundation was formed by Deepika Padukone in 2015 and is currently being managed by Anisha. Anisha works at the foundation as a vocal advocate of mental health and wellbeing. Reportedly, Anisha’s interest in mental health began post Deepika’s close experience with anxiety and depression in early 2014s. Deepika Padukone also spoke about her condition in an interview. Anisha, during one of her interviews, said that she felt helpless at her sister's suffering as she did not know what to do. Fortunately, their mother came to the rescue and arranged for Deepika to seek the help of a counsellor, who was also a family friend. The golfer added that she also went through something similar as she felt the pressure of her Surname. However, Live Love Laugh Foundation is now saving many lives.

Last year, in August, the golfer also appeared on the second season of the show, BFFs with Vogue, as Deepika Padukone’s best friend. The episode focused on the love and connection shared between the sisters. In an interview, Anisha revealed that Deepika was more like a mother to her than a sister. Currently, Anisha Padukone is focusing on her golf career. Seems like the younger sister is not interested in getting into Bollywood.
