Designer Sabyasachi says, 'Deepika Padukone scares me'. Here's why

2018 belonged to designer Sabyasachi as he designed the wedding outfits of Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. The designer also gave a sneak-peak of what went behind designing their outfits.

And now speaking to a portal, Sabyasachi opened up about Deepika Padukone and how she is always organised and a meticulous planner. The designer said, “She scares me. Deepika scares me because of the fact that I think she is so organised that you know, I pride myself in being organised, but she is so meticulous, organised and so composed about everything that she does that I look like a rookie. With Ranveer, there's no choice but to have fun. He just makes sure that you participate.”

It's not only Sabyasachi who spoke about Deepika paying attention to details. Sometime back, her husband and actor Ranveer Singh too said that he has become organised in Padukone's company. He said: "I wake up on time, I eat on time, I go to work on time, come back on time, in short, I've become a good boy now."

The Kolkata-based designer in another interview spilled the beans on how he had told Deepika Padukone when she approached him to make her wedding trousseau, ‘Let’s make something very relatable. So relatable it gets furiously copied. Otherwise, what’s the point’. I enjoy that influence. To know that there are thousands of small factories all over the country copying that look and making the ‘Deepika lehenga’ in different versions,” he said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone is busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak' opposite Vikrant Massey. The movie is based on a real life story of an acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
