Dil Bechara was previously titled Kizie Aur Manny. The film is an official adaptation of John Green's 2012 novel The Fault In Our Stars. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi. Sanjana was previously seen in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar in 2011. She played the role of Nargis Fakhri's sister in the movie and left a good impression on the audience.

The film will be a coming-of-age romantic drama centered around two cancer patients. It is being reported now that the music of this movie will be directed by none other than the Oscar-winning music director A. R. Rahman. Rahman is known for his unique sense of music and the way he crafts soulful melodies. Dil Bechara's music can be expected to be on top-charts once it is out. The lyrics of the songs have been penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya who has previously written songs like Channa Mereya, Mast Magan, Zaalima & Gerua which were all loved by the audience. Taran Adarsh shared a Tweet confirming the release date of the movie.

Dil Bechara to have a Saif Ali Khan cameo

It is rumoured that Saif Ali Khan will also have a small role in the film. The actor will reportedly play the role of author Peter Van Houten, a small yet important part of the original The Fault In Our Stars novel. Co-incidentally, Saif Ali Khan's Jawaani Jaaneman is also scheduled to release alongside Dil Bechara on 29 November 2019. It will be interesting to see how both movies perform at the box office.
