Diwali: Kareena Kapoor Khan-Karisma can't get enough of this dessert

There are multiple reasons why the festival of Diwali is exciting. The lights all around, the traditional dresses and the exchange of greetings at the gatherings are among the highlights of the occasion. Another important aspect of Diwali is the delicacies, particularly the sweets, that everyone enjoys. It is a tradition for people to gift sweets to their near and dear ones on the festival. Any Diwali gathering is also incomplete without some lip-smacking desserts. The Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena, gave a glimpse of the sweet dish they enjoyed the most during the Diwali celebrations, the kheer, that almost brought out the child in them.

Karisma Kapoor shared an amazing boomerang video on Instagram after their Diwali lunch. The sister duo were seen dressed in shades of pink, and were gorging on kheer. Kareena, in particular, seems to be on a different level of pleasure while having the kheer. The Dil To Pagal Hai star in the caption to the video, asked if anyone was  up for it, while using hashtags like #diwalilunch, #family, #sisters👭.” A very close friend of theirs, Malaika Arora replied to the video, that she was definitely willing to try it, writing, "Pls share @therealkarismakapoor.”

The Kapoor and Arora sisters, Malaika and Amrita Arora, were seen enjoying the festival together later in the day. The four were dressed in their dazzling traditional avatars. Sharing a photograph, Amrita wrote, “Diwali nites #bluelights #diwaliphatakas @malaikaaroraofficial @therealkarismakapoor #beebo !Sisterhood of the manic pictorials 🤩🤩🤩🤩.”

Earlier in the day, the Kapoor sisters were spotted at the Diwali celebrations, along with their mother Babita Kapoor. Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur were too seen. Taimur’s cute traditional attire and his interaction with the media persons had made headlines. 

Professional front 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Karisma Kapoor last featured in the web series Mentalhood. On the film front, she was seen in a cameo in Zero. Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the other hand, is gearing up for multiple releases. She will first be seen in Good Newwz, opposite Akshay Kumar, that releases on December 27. She is then set to work in two major films, the multistarrer Takht and Laal Singh Chaddha, opposite Aamir Khan.
