Dulquer Salmaan praises veteran actor Shobana for her dedication

Recently it was revealed that popular Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan will be working in Anoop Sathyan's next directorial venture. The actor recently starred in the Bollywood movie The Zoya Factor, where he was paired opposite Sonam Kapoor. Anoop Sathyan's unnamed film will also feature the veteran actor Shobana. Here is what Dulquer had to say about working with Shobana.

Dulquer Salmaan praises Shobana

Dulquer shared a picture of Shobana on social media while they were working on set. In the caption of the image, he praised Shobana and said that he found it heartwarming to see an experienced veteran actor like Shobana remembering her lines so diligently. He also stated that he felt blessed to work in the project alongside Shobana. Here is the picture that Dulquer Salmaan shared.

Shobana's comeback film

 Anoop Sathyan's next film will be the first time Shobana will be seen after a six-year hiatus. The actor was last seen in the 2014 Tamil movie Kochadaiiyaan. This will mark her comeback to the film industry. The unnamed upcoming film will be in Malayalam language and will also star another veteran actor, Suresh Gopi. The last time that Suresh Gopi and Shobana worked with each other was for the 2005 Malayalam film Makalkku. 

Shooting for the film is currently ongoing in Chennai. Anoop Sathyan is not only directing the film but has also written the script for the movie. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2020 but the exact date has not yet been announced. Actor Kalyani Priyadarshan will also be playing a crucial role in the film. More Information about the film will be revealed soon, including the tentative name for the film, as per reports.

Dulquer will be seen next in the Malayalam movie Kurup. He will be playing the lead role of Sukumara Kurup, Kerela's most elusive criminal. Other actors associated with the movie include Indrajith,  Shine Tom Chacko, Sobhita Dhulipala and Sunny Wayne.
