On the first day, the film had a fantastic opening and minted over Rs 20 crores.
The film which is a Hindi remake of Tamil film 'Arjun Reddy' is helmed by the same director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It narrates the story of an alcoholic surgeon named Kabir Singh, who has anger management issues. He goes on a self-destructive path after being separated from his ex-lover. Although critics have been raving about the film, netizens have mixed reactions about the remake.
